If you feel your not quite sure what hand wins over others your in the right place! Starting with the highest ranked hand working our way down we will explain as best we can. To see how much luck you have or need to have, we have included the odds for acquiring each hand.

 

Hand Ranks

Royal Flush

Odds: 649,739/1

An ace-high straight flush such as 10♥ J♥ Q♥ K♥ A♥ is known as a royal flush, and is the highest ranking standard poker hand.

Straight Flush

Odds: 72,192/1

A straight flush is a poker hand such as 3♠ 4♠ 5♠ 6♠ 7♠ which contains five cards in sequence, all of the same suit. As such it is both a straight and a flush.

Four of a Kind

Odds: 4,164/1

Four of a kind is a poker hand such as 10♦ 1010104♦ which contains four cards of one rank, and an unmatched card of another rank.

Full House

Odds: 693/1

A full house, also known as a full boat, is a hand such as J♥ J♣ 7♥ 7♦ 7♣ which contains three matching cards of one rank, and two matching cards of another rank.

Flush

Odds: 508/1

A flush is a poker hand such as 2♥ 6♥ 9♥ Q♥ K♥ which contains five cards of the same suit, not in rank sequence.

Straight

Odds: 254/1

A straight is a poker hand such as 3♥ 456 7 which contains five cards of sequential rank but in more than one suit.

Three of a Kind

Odds: 46/1

Three of a kind is a poker hand such as  9996♣ 2♥ which contains three cards of the same rank, plus two unmatched cards.

Two Pair

Odds: 20/1

A poker hand such as 4♦ 4♠ JJ♥ 9which contains two cards of the same rank, plus two cards of another rank (that match each other but not the first pair), plus one unmatched card, is called two pair.

One Pair

Odds: 2.4/1

One pair is a poker hand such as 610♦ 3Q♦ 10 which contains two cards of the same rank, plus three other unmatched cards.

High Cards

Odds: 1/1

A high-card or no-pair hand is a poker hand such as J10 3♣ A 6 in which no two cards have the same rank, the five cards are not in sequence, and the five cards are not all the same suit.
